Project Disha

Project Disha is Comfy’s initiative to drive meaningful change through menstrual hygiene education and access. Through on-ground programs across schools, towns, and communities, the initiative has already reached lakhs of young girls, helping them understand the importance of safe and hygienic practices.

By combining awareness sessions with access to affordable sanitary pads, Project Disha aims to break taboos, replace unsafe practices and empower girls to make informed choices about their health. With its growing reach across multiple states, the initiative continues to build a more confident, informed and supported generation.

Now in its third year, Project Disha continues to expand its footprint and impact. Over the last two years, it has reached 2,34,000  lakhs of students in 540 towns in Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu and Madhya Pradesh, creating awareness and promoting healthier menstrual hygiene practices. This year’s expanded outreach underlines Amrutanjan Healthcare’s commitment to advancing women’s health, ensuring that menstrual education and access reach every corner of the country.

Mr. S. Sambhu Prasad, Chairman & Managing Director, Amrutanjan Healthcare Limited, said, “Ensuring period dignity and hygiene access for every girl is a responsibility we take seriously. Menstrual health remains an overlooked aspect of well-being in many parts of India, particularly among young students. With initiatives like the Project Disha, we aim to create lasting change by combining education, awareness, and access. Our vision is to build a future where every girl can manage her period with comfort, confidence, and dignity.”

Mr. Mani Bhagavatheeswaran, Chief Marketing Officer, Amrutanjan Healthcare Limited, added, “Our direct engagement with students has shown us that awareness and availability go hand in hand. Many young girls experience uncertainty and hesitation during their first cycle because they lack proper information or products. Through this program, Comfy bridges that gap by making menstrual hygiene approachable and accessible, while also building a sense of trust and comfort among users.”
